nice one! i was always wondering if the base would be active again with all the current stuff happening is Russia. I was there while the base was closing in 05/06. good times!

There is a good scenery of the Keflavik civil airline terminal on avsim. You can use this package for the military and the one I mentioned for the airline terminal.

The file name is kef04v3.1.zip. Althought the new AFCAD does not match the terminal in the package that I mentioned. You would need to fix that.

Is that FS9 or FSX? I don't have FSX.

Hi Guys here are some pics of some aircraft at Keflavik.

All are for the 57FIS/57FS 35Wing (IS).

F-4E's Nick's new model 80's
F-15C's Nicks again late 80's light grey
F-15C's mid/late 90's darker grey.

I have done
22 F-4E's textures
20 F-15C/D's light grey
20 F-15C/D's dark grey

Plus have done traffic files for all three types .

So change the traffic file for 80's late 80's mid 90's.

I can upload all these files if you what them.
F-15's now and the F-4E's when it has been released by Nick Black.

Same here I would like to have F-4s for Keflavik please. That's the only a/c I'm missing right now.

OH YEAH!! That is going to be awesome. I was a Pavehawk Flight Engineer at Kef from 94-96. I was there when the 57th FIS shut down. Those pictures bring back memories.

I was there then as well, I was a senior at A.T. Mahan High while my dad was there. were you there when they were talking about evacuating the base when that volcano blew? I was also there myself from 2003 - 2006 in the AGE shop.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!! Now I can go get my F-4s!!!!!! Whoops!!!! Forgot that they won't be released til the wkend in my time. But it's the weekend in England right now. So, It will likely be released when I'm asleep Fri, or Sat night.
