That will certainly be an interesting project. Especially if you can add that vertical animation the AH-64 uses for takeoffs.
I'm impressed that you made a LOD 1 model with that few polygons considering it's prop plane and quite "curvy".
Hopefully you'll post some pictures soon.
As an aside, I've always thought the Osprey was a heck of a concept.

Still way cool with the glass panel...of which I have a picture if anyone is interested...

USMC had one on static at the '08 NAS Oceana show, and yes I thought the same thing when I first saw it lol.
The Sea Knight helo is even worse, I think my mom's SUV is bigger haha

MACC, I don't know what Kevin's plans are for this but he's had this one:

in development for a long time. I think the takeoff/landing issue was the big holdup.
Maybe he'll be able to either help you or finish his.

Ah, ok.
I still need to redo the fuselage as i'm going to have a ramp that comes down when they are on the ground.
I also need to redo the canopy area as it is all solid at the moment so i need to creat the cockpit.

Macc,
Rather than simply have the ramp down when they are on the ground maybe it would be better to have it down when its in its flight preparation phase, i.e. pre-start. It would seem to be more realistic that way.
The more experienced modellers should be able to help you with how to do that when you get around to that part.

I think Kevin should finish his one.
Looks alot better than mine, cause i'm going to try create an alpha jet for the Belgium pack.
I'll still end up finishing it sometime though, i'm just finding the cockpit hard aswell as creating the internal.

An Alpha Jet is also in the making mate. Pascal was working on one a while ago, but no updates for a while. Sorry to keep bursting your bubble.

Always model what YOU want to do, don't take requests just do it and whatever u produce will be great for the AI community...
Remember no-one is paying you for it, so do what u want to do and enjoy it...
That's my core principle.. Alot of takers out there, but not many give ANYTHING back to the community....

Its a fair point.
But i'm not bothered what i model, i don't have ideas either.
So i'm quite happy to take requests etc;

If everyone would give something, there wouldn't be anything to model

Just joking. Requesting something sucks (I just made an suggestion

), if you look at "the fruit stand" when they released there saab 2000. One of the first posts was a question if they could make an A310... Oh well...
Just have fun at wat you do.

How some helicopters? I'd love a CH-43 and / or a Huey? Maybe a Blackhawk? Or some British choppers? There you did ask
