UK Rememberance Day

Today (Sunday 9th November) is the day that the UK remembers all those who died in WW1 and WW2 and all the military operations that the UK armed forces have taken part in. I thank them for the freedom we enjoy in the British Isles.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

RIP all dead Brits from past wars, and dead from Op Telic (Operation Iraqi Freedom), and Op Herrick (Operation Enduring Freedom) also.

As a former sailor of the US Navy, I raise my glass to all fellow sailors and soldiers from both the UK and US, as Tuesday 11/11 is Veteran's Day in the US. Let us all not forget the sacrifices made by those before us.

Here's in Remembrance to all our friends and compatriots who did not Return to Base. Their sacrifice pays for our way of life and freedoms, may they always remain in our thoughts and hearts.
All gave some,
Some gave all.
