Taxiway Intersections at night

Was coming home from work the other night and I noticed that at the intersections of taxiways at KNGU were two amber lights instead of blue lights. So I went home and fired up the ol' flilght sim and sure enough at the intersections it was still blue lights. Now my question is, is this a military airport thing or does it also apply to civilian airports as well. I couldn't tell if this was also like this at KORF. And if this is at both type of facilities is there a way to change the color of the lights.

Les can you be more specific? Were these amber lights located to the sides of the taxiways where normally the blue lights would have been?

Might be some new military thing to help guys identify where taxiway intersections are.

Mike,
They were located on the sides where the blue lights are supposed to be. They are for placement purposes at the center of the intersecting taxiway. kinda like letting you know you are passing the middle. I have attached a screen shot of were they are located. For reference purposes at NGU i was paralleling taxiway D and the amber lights were at the middle of taxiway E and at the intersection of D and B. Tha's all I could see from I-564.
Hope this helps in describing it.
