Nice to see someone taking care of my home country
Hopefully critics are welcome
ETME was disbanded in 2005.
Also I doubt (but not sure) that some of the other airports in your plans are suitable for the Orion (such as EDWG). I read the P-3 needs about 1,300 meters to take off. Many of the island airfields you included in your airports.txt have shorter runways.

They haven't for long...they bought them from the Dutch Navy (Konlijke Marine) to replace the Atlantique II. Although there are still 2/3 Atlantiques operated under SIGINT.

Hi Sprocky,
The islands should be TNG only unless I have messed up on the flightplans, the idea was to get them flying over coastal waters without the need to make to many waypoints.
I will have to double check and do an amendment.
Regards,
Steve.

Hi Macc,
I thought I had read that the SIGINT aircraft had also been retired?
Regards,
Steve.

Not yet. From the official German Navy page (translation below):
BRÉGUET ATLANTIC BR 1150
Die Deutsche Marine verfügt noch über drei Maschinen der BRÉGUET ATLANTIC. Die 14 Seefernaufklärer dieses Typs wurden durch acht Luftfahrtzeuge der P-3C ORION Klasse ersetzt. Die zwei Messflugzeuge der SIGNIT Version werden weiter bis Ende 2009 eingesetzt.
The German Navy has three BRÉGUET ATLANTIC still in use. Fourteen aircrafts of this type have been replaced by eight P-3C Orion. Two BR-1150 (SIGINT version) will be used until the end of 2009.
Also, Steve, I did not check the TNG thing

But still: ETME is closed

If you need further information about the "Marineflieger" let me know.

Where have i gone wrong , i have no aircraft. I put the AFCAD,s in the addon scenery, put the aircraft in the aircraft folder, the flightplans in the scenery/world /scenery folder and hey presto, nothing.
Please point me in the right direction.
Regards Paul Day.

Did you mean the flightplans.txt file or a traffic.bgl made from that file? You need to make and place a traffic.bgl file in ..scenery/world /scenery - use ttools by Lee Swordy if you're working with FS9.

The traffic file is included as Traffic_MFG3 Nordholz AB.bgl
Put this file into your Scenery\World\scenery folder and it should work.
Just launching my FS to check if my installation went right.
What happened to the the German Navy BR-1150's? See here:
http://www.jetjournal.net/content/view/4398/35/lang,de/
(german only - but if you have questions don't hesitate to ask

)
EDIT:
Just checked. Installation went fine in FS9. Maybe you could also check a different time at ETMN. Friday 10:45 UTC

Hm, I have had repaints of the P3s made by Andy Nott for several months now .....
And when you make them fly, I assume you only made ONE active ( that's the current situation ). Due to a desolate situation regarding spare parts, only ONE P-3 is currently in operation ( 60+08 ). I believe 60+06 will come into service again early 2009.
Also, only two ATLA remain, and neither do very much flying.
It's pretty safe to put one P-3 in a pattern for approaches 2-3 times every weekday, but only one other one should go out for sorties .....

Perhaps someone should have asked ..... there are quite a few people on this forum who have an insider´s view on German Military aviation .....
