Do missing effect files slow down FS from loading? I have been playing around with fs manager, and aca2005/aca2007 trying to tydy up my fs installation, and among many problems I have numerous effects files missing. Probably wishful thinking, but does anyone know of a place to download effects files separatly from the aircraft they came with? Also does it matter if the fltsim section in the config. is capitals of not (Fltsim or fltsim) aca lists some as missing and all I could find was some were in caps.

I do not think fltsim or Fltsim or even FLTSIM worries Flight Simulator. It does however upset some third party programs. It took me ages to work out why an earlier version of FS Repaint would not see aircraft that FS could. I eventually nailed it down to the the use of capital letters in fltsim. so I now always write it in lower case.
