Iranian Air Base and Air Field Afcads

Got somewhat bored with other projects and have way too much free time. So here are a few of the AFX-created Iranian Air Force Air Base and Air Field afcads I've been making recently for my FSX installation. My goal was that they would be "Google-based", accurate enough for pretty much any of the WOAI, default, etc, ai flightplans that I've run across.

All I've done here is to re-save them out in FS9 format so anyone can use them/use them as a starting point for modification of the defaults, or as a basis more complete scenery.

Feel free to modify them all you want for your own use. Other than this upload, I don't support them. Please do not include them as is as part of any package - if modded, no acknowledgement is required (please do not include my name, screenname or email in any documentation). (I don't upload to avsim/flightsim/etc. under this screenname for personal reasons.)

Others to follow later this week unless the admins here prefer otherwise.

As someone who just emailed me pointed out, both FS9'ers and FSX'ers who want to use these might want to make some landclass, exclusion and/or flatten bgls for best results on their systems.

As I replied to his kind email, I did say that I was "providing" these "as is" without support.

My reasons for doing so, which were also questioned, are very simple - I don't have FS9 installed, my FSX installation is heavily modified in terms of both landclass and mesh installations and, finally, I don't want to deal with the hassle of making adjustments to/for sims I can't manually manipulate myself.

If these don't work for you and you can't fix them yourself and that makes you upset, PLEASE uninstall them. You'll be no worse off than before.

OIZC_Konarak

Edit:
Ooop.s Konarak is the nearest town. The afcad should be named Chabahar AirBase. The Icao is correct.
Sorry about that.

This is a case of the FSX default afcad being danged close Google-placement/runway-taxiway wise AND near-correct-size/type default buildings (that MSFS substitutes for HAS's) are in danged-near the right places. So, basically all I've done is add parking spots/apronways and make some minor alignment adjustments.

Still, it's saved/presented as a FS9 afcad here.

Ford, that looks like a lot of time-consuming work gone in there. Would it possible to get hold of those files in their native FSX state?

Thanks in anticipation.

OIFM - current name Istafan-Khatami AB
Old name in the airport reference point.

FSX "forced" me to use the old name for this base/airport.

OIZH_Zahedan International

Wikipedia lists this as an airbase, but Google satellite imagery doesn't show a lot of the "normal base accoutrments". I think this is used as a TDY/day trip air base, but I could be wrong.

There is a separate concretized area that I assume is used for/by the military, so I added a taxiway to it and created some parking spots.

I haven't adjusted the elevation to really blend into either the FS9 or FSX elevation/mesh... the elevation here is from the FSX default afcad.

OIMM - Mashhad International/Shahid Hashemi Nejad Airport
Wikipedia lists both names for this airport.

Added military parking for fighters/transports, added some civil parking. Usual alignment adjustments.
