Hi Guys,

Looking into pimping some Dutch Airforce bases as we're (Arjan and I) almost done creating AI aircraft, flightplans and AFCADs, but these airfield look pretty empty. But I'm a rookie to scenery creating and could use your advise;

What is, as per your opinion, the best and/or most user friendly tool to add buildings, hangars, shelters, etc. to FS9 scenery?

Does anyone know what types os shelters and hangars are being used on Dutch Airfield and if these are available on the www ? (AVSIM I assume?)

Thanks for your help!

Best bet would be a combination of Instant Scenery and AFX for the design process. Throw in SBuilder if you want to work with the ground textures.

As far as available scenery objects, that part I'm not sure about.

I only think of adding shelters and hangars for now, would in that case EZ-Scenery be an option or is that a no good tool ?

EZ scenery works in FS9 for placing scenery library objects.

However, if you are going to go out and buy it, buy Instant Scenery. It is by the same author, does the same things and more, and works in both FS9 and FSX. Instant Scenery can still make use of the many EZ scenery library objects posted to the major fltsim sites.
