I did this up for someone elses enjoyment, and now I've been bitten by the repainting bug for my own amusement.

I used Nick Black's F-4F Model and painted it to be either an E or G model (not really an issue if it's AI) of the 90th TFS/ 3rd TFW based at Clark AB in the Philippines in the 80's.

Very Awesome!!!

I grew up at Clark Air Base right up to 1991 when it closed down...

Of course the F-4s then were painted grey, but still cool to see a FS plane with PN on the tail...

I've decided to pick up where I left off a few months ago and dust off an old project for a friend detailing Clark AFB set in the early 80's. The Phantoms are somewhat done and I have redone the old MAC scheme for the 141's and C-5's that where there. This is my attempt to paint camouflage, it took a few days to line everything up... and it's still not lined up 100% :x .

BTW... does anyone know of a good T-33 and if there are any good F-5's out there? I have the ones from Avsim (the Kim F-5 and the Conrad T-33) but they are not the best with the FPS. Any help would be killer!

First attempt at camo my ar$%, excellent job on those!

You might of seen the preview shots of the MAIW F-5, yet to be released. Not sure of T-33's in only AI, but Piglets models are pretty nice for simple freeware.

Victory, I'm glad it looks like I know what I'm doing! :D I seriously just started with the camo stuff like 3 days ago! I had alot of help with the Phantom a while back and unfortunatly had to rework a previous repaint for my own useage. I might have another go at making my own camo job for it soon. I still am having a little problem with the top of the fuselage of the 130 (trying to get sharp lines on a curved surface) it just seems to blur the edges... still trying to figure this one out. I have to add credit to Graham King here. I searched for a tutorial and found something of his that explained it alittle. We'll see what the future brings. I know there isn't alot of demand on MAIW for retro stuff but that's what I'm in to and I hope to do more now that time permits in my life.
