				AFCAD Question

Hey guys, I can't seem to find how to make AFCAD point to a certain place on my computer by default. Actually, what happened was, I installed a second FS9 for retro traffic (which works fine), but now my AFCAD only opens those airports unless I click the "From Specific File" button and manually go to my original FS9.
My original path is: C/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Add On Scenery/Scenery.
My retro path is: C/Program Files/FS-9_retro/Add on Scenery/Scenery
Is there any way to shift this back to my main FS9?

Thanks,

				Jake,
Afcad doesn't seem to have a path in its cfg file so I am guessing that it picks up the default fs9 path from the registry. Maybe the new install, if it was a complete install, has its path picked up first.
It may even be that it picks up the last one you ran. This is pure speculation on my part.

Well, I know it doesn't pick up the last one run because I rarely run the retro, but maybe it picks up the last one installed. However it seems funny that it would pick up this one because if you notice, the path does not include "Flight Simulator 9".
Oh well, maybe someone will know and we'll both learn something.

In case anyone is interested, I renamed my retro folder to move it below the Microsoft Games folder (renamed to "retro_FS-9"). When I opened AFCAD, I got the message that it could no longer find the right path so it gave me the option to select a new path. Now it reads AFCADs in the correct version of FS by default.

Cool, useful bit of subterfuge there.
