I guess so. And maybe a detatchment of ANG folks. I don't know why the MN ANG is at Tyndall right now. That's what Scramble says

Wonder if the acceleration is so the F-35's slated for Eglin could go there? Sort of sticking the finger to those people in Valparaiso pursuing the legal action? Is it conceiveable the USAF would close Eglin and shift all to Tyndall? Timescales could be a little bit coincidental especially with the F-15 drawdown and F-35 intro...

Mike they are part of the 1ST AIR FORCE (AFNORTH) mission that rotates into Tyndall.

I often saw them there when I was based there. Them and the North Dakota people love it there during the winter months....wonder why?? :D

Spent several year at Grand Forks, I know why :) I had to choose between Tyndall & Holoman but for whatever reason I went with Holloman.
