Where are the Red Arrows?

it has just come to my attention that there appears to be no Red Arrows at Scampton. but you have released the RAF hawk pakages. i was just woundering why they aren't there?

Dale, there is a plan afoot to do the Dead Sparrows separately. Oh and before you ask no we haven't done the T2s yet

There are some T2s in the BAe Hawks package. The 3 that were testing at the time of going to press.
And there are definately plans afoot for the Red Arrows, and trust me you aren't going to be disappointed. I promise it will be breaking the AI boundaries once again.

Ah, but Nick. Are you going to base them at Scampton or Waddington, which is where I've heard they are going?

well its only a rumor that they are going to waddo. after all theres not much room for them at waddo. scampton seems to be the obv choice. who knows

I know it's a long time since anyone wrote on this subject but I just checked wikipedia and the arrows are off to waddington.

Yes, it's been confirmed. I work at Waddington and it's been decided to ahead with the move, although it won't happen until 2010.

gess scampton is closing then. lol. look forward to seeing them at the airshow when they are based there. awsum to here about there female pilot tho.

As far as I know Scampton is staying open as a ground unit. They're closing the airfied but there is an ATC centre there aswell which supports deployed ops, I think they staying.

I`ve been out of the RAF for quite some time now but Scampton was always opening and closing on a regular basis in the 80`s and 90`s.
