An F-16 from the Aviano AB (Italy) has dropped its tanks in emergency moments after the takeoff. One of the tanks fell on a house and destroyed a car parked in a garage.
Local inhabitants lamented about the behaviour of the pilot.
Other news: it seems that the F-16s from the base might be moved to Poland. A study carried from Col. Christopher Sage, irritated the Russian Government. Russia might react by deploying tactical Iskander missiles in Kaliningrad as a response. "Hostility" in the Italian society for the US bases seem to be the main reason of this decision. Sage declared that moving the F-16s is important for the nation's interest. The text has been published on 'Air and Space Power Journal'.

Interesting, I've been wanting to do an Aviano package with scenery for quite a while, sounds like I may not get the chance.
