i recently saw on avsim a package for raf waddington wherethe aircraft did touch and go's i wondered how you do this and what program people use to create there own ai as i would seriously like to try making my own package of some kind

Traditional way - which I recommend highly.
Download ttools 2.02 by Lee Swordy from avsim.com
Read the documentation - TNG "coding" is both explained and illustrated.
RPP's way - if you don't understand the above way, you won't understand the results you get here but they will work.
Do a search here for the RPP Generator.
Download it.
Read the first worksheet.
Fill in the blanks on "your project" worksheet.
Compile.
Copy/paste the result into ..\scenery\world\scenery
((This is a great tool for quick and dirty fp's. I use it routinely.))
I strongly believe that people should understand "how to add" manually before using a calculator to do math. ---not being snide, flip or dismissive. Flightplanning is relatively easy to understand. Just read, try and experiment. Then you can go for modification, automation, and getting fancy.
