Hi all,

Im having trouble installing SP2 for Vista 64 Bit. It keeps failing on part 3 of the install. Anybody else having this problem or know how I can remove the install, as it keeps trying to install on every shutdown / start up.

Sorry, mate. I can honestly say that I am unable to help here.

To remove the SP2 install go to Windows Update in the Control Panel and select "view installed updates" or something to that effect...(I'm not looking at the screen this second)...You need to remove the one marked KB948465.

If you cannot access it via the control panel, there is another way to get it back off, but it is a little more complex. Leave a message or PM me and I will send you the steps or look up KB948465 on the Knowledge Base at Microsoft.
