Pretty much done with these, only have to change the tail numbers and buno, but I won't get a chance to do so untill tommorrow.
I left out the yellow "arrow" on the bottom as I could not get it too look right for the life of me.
If any one would like their name on 2-7 reply back here, 1 is already taken lol
these will probably be the last I paint of the F-18 since i'm sure MAIW has plans for all the other stuff.

If 6 is available, I'll take it. Capt. Lewis (Mac) Magruder
PS You are quick, I have been working on these too. Just couldn't find the correct colors, so I was in hold to complete this group.
I also like your version too.

is there a generic callsign for the blue angels? I beleive the 1 plane goes by "Boss" but what about the others?

by Jumpshot724
Not that I'm aware of. #1 is always "Boss" because obviously that's the Commander, everyone else uses whatever their callsign is.
2007 Blue Angels Team:
#1 Cdr Kevin "Boss" Mannix (callsign before the Blues was "Nix")
#2 Lcdr Anthony "Opie" Walley
#3 Capt. Clint "Toris" Harris
#4 Lcdr. Tom "Duck" Winkler
#5 Lcdr. John "JB" Allison
#6 Lcdr. Craig "Merlin" Olson

I think you're right. They're whole routine including walkout is timed/done to a sing-songy collection of phrases etc. The walkout is something like this:
<<Lined up at attention, at "Ready, and 1" they start their walk>>
Boss: "Ready, and 1 2 3 4 snap pop salute, see ya" <<turns to aircraft>>
All: "See ya boss" <<keeps walking>>
2: "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 see ya" <<turns to aircraft>>
All remaining: "See ya 2" <<keeps walking>>
3: "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 see ya" <<turns to aircraft>>
All remaining: "See ya 3" <<keeps walking>>
etc etc. I saw it on a documentary that used to be on the Military Channel "Blue Angels: A Year in the Life"
