While I appreciate all the hard work that goes into something like this, in my opinion this scenery looks a bit amatuer-ish.
Unless the screen shots don't do it justice, there are freeware files available that make the island look much better than this.
The aircraft, are they AI?, look very minimal to say the least.
And I really don't think there are any Sukhois' on the island, or ever have been.
I appreciate the 'Killers' work, but I'm keeping my $9.95.

I'll keep the Diego Garcia that I already have. I agree it just looks like he used various library's and threw something together.

Wow......
I like their quote, "you can still get up to 20 FPS"........gee, thanks!
It's for FSX but looks like it's from FS2002!
Some people will sell anything and sadly someone will pay for this.

Guys,
When I posted I guess I wasn't in the best mood to be criticising work that I can't do myself.
I guess I was just trying to ask if anyone thought this looked better than what I thought it did.
I guess I got my answer.
Once again, I DO appreciate all the work that goes into this hobby.
But for the life of me, I don't understand why some people release what is obviously work that is not up to par with freeware stuff.
This is one reason I am and shall remain a freeware kinda guy.

I support anyone who creates add-ons for this hobby but, what was this guy thinking to try and CHARGE for that??
I'm curious to see how many (if any) bought it....
"If you make it, they will pay...."

I can't look at it. garbage! same goes for "Eagle Simulations". I can't believe someone gave it a good review. I guess they haven't seen what John S can do. Again........GARBAGE!

I guess it's like on reviewer stated. SimMarket will sell anything. They don't take time to review or test all of the items they get.
Somehow that cheapens flightsimming.

The same thing that makes Flightsimming a great hobby to be a part of--is the very same thing that allows a 'developer' to put out any kind of addon and then label it 'payware'. The bulk if simmers, though, I believe are much smarter than just to say 'hey look Diego Garcia!!' and run off for the credit card. I would pass in this scenery even if it was free. But thats just my opinion.....

I agree, the market ultimately decides how "good" a product really is. We've always wondered how well MAIW would do as a payware company. DON'T PANIC, we're not going there!

I was, for a very short time, in charge of developing payware packages for a well know flightsim company.
The didn't want to listen so we parted company.
Plus, no one is any better than MAIW at doing this.

....Like I said...I would be SO in debt...whatever company that was..has NO idea what they missed out on. But I am OK with free lol!

I have to agree, it does look like a base quickly knocked to together using odd and sods as textures. May be a lazy days work in doing that, I would say.
To tell you the tuth, I would download it if it was freeware going by the pic's.
