Military AI Works

Ok, here's what I'm running up against lately.

I use TTools Companion. I'm getting the error message "error in ModEvalFP Type Mismatch". And then I have to close the program.

Also, and I've mentioned this before, when I'm creating AI they never show unless I run TTools several times. The traffic.bgl is in the correct folder too.

I've noticed that I even have to install some MAIW packages more than once to get them to show. All the files go to the correct folders but unless I install again, they won't show.

Firebird mentioned something about the cache.

So I have rebooting the computer, but not even this helps.

Really could use some more ideas on things to check.

Well I can help with one problem at least, Kev.
Its a well known problem with TTools Companion, it doesn't like TNG legs. If you remove the 'TNG' characters it will not report any errors but it does limit you somewhat in your full checking.

May I suggest running the flightplans through AIFP. It will validate either source files or compiled bgl.

As for the other problem, I think that it has to do with Vista, if I remember correctly. If a compile is there but not picked up even after a reboot its highly likely not to be a system cache problem.

I do have a T&G leg so I'll delete it and re-run TTC.

But I know find out that I have some missing a/c that were there before.
So now i"m really confused as to what's going on.

Any particular type or package?

Right now the problem is with packages that I'm creating myself.
I've triple checked everything and the files are where they're supposed to be. But I don't have any aircraft.

I'm sure it's something simple that I've overlooking...thats just the way it goes for me.

Have you run ACA2005 against your system it is very good at picking up problems.
The only other thing that I can say is that if you have one leg start time as the same time, or before, the arrival time from the previous leg the aircraft will not show up for the rest of the line, or week in MAIW terms.
AIFP will pick this up though even in compiled format, which is the best way to check.

Is that AI Flight Planner?
