Help on overriding FS9 default runways

Ok Gents,
This is the issue that somebody has with some scenery they have made. The thing is that MS have got the runway orientation wrong, its about 12 degs out.

The problem that they have is that you can't easily delete or move, i.e. using afcad or afx, the default ILS markers.
In flight with the corrected AFX file the TrafficToolbox shows the correct path but the aircraft actually follows exactly the old markers and so doesn't land on the runway 12 degs off centre.
I tried saving the airfield as an afcad file and again TrafficToolbox showed the correct path but the aircraft actually flew between the two marker corridors. So it was 6 degs off centre but still didn't hit the runway.

Any clues as to ways to fix this issue, the guys would appreciate any help here. To me it seems like it would need to replace the data in the default APxxxxxx.bgl but does anybody if this is feasible and how it can be done?

Just thought I might point out that releases which include modifications to stock FS files can cause more problems than they solve.

The first time one installs a scenery which requires a modification to the stock files, there is no obvious problem. However, what happens when "desirable scenery number two", which also requires modification of stock files, comes along? Most likely, the compatibility with scenery number one is compromised, forcing prospective downloadees to choose between scenery one and scenery two.

And so on with desirable scenery number three.

Scrabbling a little in the dark here, but do the "delete_*" switches allow FS to recognise third party bgl files that contain the corrected ils code?

Just a thought - maybe I should look further into it...

Yep, a point understood and taken on board but seeing as they have done the new scenery, correcting the orientation, what options do we have?
