Using non_AI aircraft

If I used 20 non-AI aircraft on an airfield I realise that they would decrease frame rates etc.

If those 20 aircraft were actually parked in HASs would the frame rate be governed by the scenery, the HAS in this case, or would the non-AI aircraft still make a difference ?

You could bury them in the ground and they will still make a difference....just that now the HAS would also be eating up your frame rates. FS9 draw them even when you don't see them.

I think the only way anything like that would work would be if the aircraft were modelled in such a way as to only appear on start-up (like the pilot figures in some ai a/c). It could be done (I think) but would only be useful if the planes were parked in shelters all of the time. I am ready to be corrected on this as well
