They've updated the page-both of the crew were killed. I wonder what happened?

Too early to tell, but there were reports that they were part of a pair on low level and the RAF Mountain rescue guy said that it hit between a third and a half way up the mountain.
No clue as to whether it was lead or wingman.

I believe that to be the case, the second aircraft started the initial co-ord of rescue efforts......

Oh man another one. :(

Those guys really push the limits over on the Isles.
I wonder if they use terrain following autopilot like the F-111 and had a hickup. This type of thing use to happen to the F-111 in the development stages.

I they are doing nape of the earth manually then your asking for it.

I can picture a scene like this. It's night time so you really have to concentrate on your instruments. The pilot in command forgot to leave his cell phone at the base and his wife calls at a critical moment. You know the rest.

At least they pasted loving what they do. You can't shake a stick at that.
