Another great freeware model, in my opinion better than the IFDG one, is made by Project Airbus and is always available on Avsim/Flightsim.
As for the panel, you can get Ken Mitchell's one, which is a bit heavy but quite well done (no virtual cockpit though). Always refer to Flightsim/Avsim.

Look also for the Vas FMC. A freeware FMC that comes with a set up for the A320, if you are going to fly airliners, the stock GPS just doesn't cut it.

I use IFDG's all the time as I also fly for jetBlue Virtual, I find the IFDG model has a lot more repaints too.
