Any of you talented painters want to take this one on? Seems to be a new scheme that is floating around on a couple of the Cherry Point Harriers.

Quite a few out of yuma are sporting it now too. I know a couple VMA-311 have them.

Aaron, do you have any pics of the Yuma ones? I've only found one online so far for a Yuma based bird.

Mike, here is one with I think what are the correct colours:
http://www.king.eclipse.co.uk/Packages/ ... AV8B_T.zip Let me think on it a couple of days to see if I think the colours are correct. It is for the AV-8plus model.
There is still some work to do with moving and adding decals and I have not gone over the whole aircraft to see if there are any other changes.
I decided
this photo probably showed the colours best.

Yea that's probably the best lit shot of them all so far. The USMC is now painting CAG/Boss' Bird colors on the tails of their Harriers as well, some pretty cool schemes out there now. We'll have plenty of new material to update the Yuma package with.

Graham,
As always great job on the paint. I have been following the series of new scheme pics on Fencecheck and starting to see more as each squadron sends one off to paint. A Harrier driver on another forum mentioned they send one at a time.

Just doing some repaint research and noticed this scheme looks alot like the one applied to USN MH-53E Sea Dragons, hmm...

It also looks like the scheme being used on the Air Force's MV-22 Ospreys.

Yep,
The question is "How bright can you make a dark plane?"

Ive seen several of the new schemes at Williams Gateway out side of Phoenix VMA 311(Tomcats), and VMA 211 (Wake Avengers) from Yuma, as well as a Vampire from China Lake.
