Military AI Works

There was an all white airliner (looked like a 767 to me) parked for 2 days at my local airport (Bournemouth, UK) The only markings were a small US flag on the rear fuselage, a US serial (couldn't see it clearly) and the words CONCOM on the tail fin. Rumours have its was a US Govt agency plane, possibly CIA. Anyone know who CONCOM are or is it a cover company? It was not a scheduled passenger flight, which is all the airport authorities told me when I rang the press office.

Comco is the de facto name of an American airline operating two Boeing 757 aircraft, registrations being N226G and N610G. Both aircraft are painted completely white with the word Comco appearing on the tail. Little is known about the exact nature of their operation, but they are believed to operate on behalf of the United States Department of Defense. Some sources, including the FAA registry, list L-3 Communications (or more specifically L-3 Capital LLC) as the owner of the aircraft.[1][2]

In 2003, one of the Comco aircraft was forced to land after being intercepted by aircraft from the Indian Air Force after it had strayed into Indian airspace by mistake on a flight from Karachi to Malé.[3]

Comco N226G landing on RWY 23. Comco provides transport capability to the Foreign Emergency Support Team (FEST) through the use of two C-32B (757-200) aircraft (N610G & N226G). The USAF supports worldwide operations to select U.S. government agencies on the recommendation of the Deputies Committee and approval by the Secretary of Defense. I have read that Comco provides transportation to Delta and CIA personnel as well.

That's it. I couldn't accurately make out the owrding on the tail from where I was. What on earth was it doing at Bournemouth? Mind you Meggitt have their World HQ on the airport. My ex-wife works there and they often have senior US Military folks visiting. Or it may have bought folks to visit the Royal Marines Special Boat Squadron (the UK's equivalent of the USN SEALS) that are based in the next town along from Bournemouth.

There was a discussion on this company somewhere, and the connection to SBS/SAS was proposed.
I believe a SAS chopper was parked near it at some UK Civil airport.
Cant remember where I was reading it, but the plane had some large men in black suits (and guns) near it!

Thanks Barry, the SAS chopper is a frequent visitor to the SBS base and refuels at the local airport.
