Zweibrucken (EDRZ) AFCAD?

I have the C-23s and RF-4s operating out of EDRZ. The sherpas taxi and takeoff as normal but the phantoms disappear as soon as they stop on the runway. I see them flying around and parked at Spangdahlem but not on the ground at EDRZ. Any ideas?

Thanks

Which RF-4 are you using?
Check the parking radius of the mdl. I seem to remember that there were some versions of Nick's RF-4 that got released with a radius of 20m which is far larger than you need and you may not have any parking spots big enough to take that.

Yeah, they are nick black. I'll check that stuff. Not sure about the parking but there are all the taxi ways and plenty on HAS's. I am not a scenery genious but i will look at the cfg for turning.

**In case you're unsure how to proceed**

I suggest you use a program called AFCAD V2.21, get it from the following link:

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DL ... CatID=root

This program will enable you to check your parking spots (size, code etc.) and also has an inbuilt Aircraft Editor where you can ensure that your ai aircraft "parking radii" are not too large to fit into the provided parking spots. The help file is well written, and contains everything you need to know to get started and hopefully sort out this problem.

Good luck!

OK if you are saying that RF-4s are parked up there then the problem is that there is no way that the aircraft exiting the runway can get to the parking slots. Therefore its an afcad issue. It may be that you only have this problem in one direction, but its a good idea to check before you start messing about with it.

Send me a copy of your AFCAD and I can look at it.

I think you are right, Steve. I bet the two sets of aircraft are going to different parking spots and for whatever reason...a missing node perhaps...one set can't get to their parking spots.

Of course, I don't have FS installed so take that for what it's worth :)

I used Boogaards C-23 and Rf-4 traffic files and scenery from an old CFB Zweibrucken freeware. Even though the C-23s park and taxi, i can't find an afcad using the scan afcad software. There is also no edrz in my addon scenery/scenery folder. Like i said, i'm not a master at this stuff.

Looks to me like your AFD file could be in the folder for the EDRZ scenery if it's not to be found in the Add On Scenery\scenery folder. It may not have an obvious name, either.

I'm just guessing though, as I don't have that scenery. Do you have Lee Swordy's AFCAD program from the link I posted above? This should search all your active scenery folders for an AFD related to EDRZ.
