FSX - TRAFFIC DENSITY WOES

Ok guys, I know I have been doing alot of posting. It has helped me alot. Here is the king of all posts, for my problems at least. I feel that for some reason, the traffic density at my military bases is below where it should be. I have the slider at 100% and my bases are only somewhat full. With all of the guys on here boasting 200+ planes at a particular base, I am way short. I need to know if there is something I am not doing right or a way to increase the density of the bases.

You must bear in mind that most users here are using FS9 with properly laid out afcads to represent the airfield and vastly increased parking spaces, whereas you are using FSX with, presumably default airfield layout? I would think you will need to increase the available parking.

Also many of the users here have their own traffic files added in addition to the MAIW ones. During the testing on Nellis, I thought that I had a ton of traffic at the base. That was until I saw screenshots from some of our testers!

The biggest problem with not seeing traffic is not the sliders as to the number and size of the parking spots, If there is noware to park or if the parking spot is to small the aircraft will land but disapear once they start to taxi.

I'm using FSX and use all of the afcads provided with the MAIW packages without any obvious problems (except trees on the taxiway  ). I know for a fact that these afcads provide enough parking. Try using them and see what happens, if everything goes horribly wrong, just delete them, but that is unlikely.
Hope this helps

One item I figured out when I started converting everything to FSX is that FSX does not like to manage AI flightplans with days of the week formatted for FS9 and others for FSX simultaneously. In my experience when I initially tried to copy my MAIW files straight into FSX without using a program such as AIFPC none of the planes would show up. Later on whenever I lost track of what I was doing and forgetting to convert even just one traffic file, it would cause certain airports would go completely empty.

There is a thread on this forum about converting to FSX. I would give this a shot if you have not already done so.

Thanks guys. I dont think it is an afcad issue. I mean, for the most part I am getting a decent amount of traffic. I guess I wanted to know how these guys create or add on to the flightplans and traffic included with the packages. I love MAIW, wouldnt fly without it, but would like to add in more stuff and customize some of my bases. It may be beyond my capacity tho, it just depends on what it takes to do that.
