Military AI Works

In the past I have loaded numerous MAIW Aircraft in FSX, and the all have shown up, untill I tried to load a C-40A USN, and others.

I have gone to AirEd and cleared the Aircraft type to 0 with no luck.

I have tyied the aia_737-700 route with aia_c40a_usn with no luck.

I have tried Kittyhawk version no show.

Opensky has two, no show.

These are all FS9 aircraft.

I realize some of that FS9 aircraft have trouble loading in FSX, and some won't show up.

I find this reather confusion, I have other aircraft from FS2002 not the greates but they work.

Can some one tell me, if its possable, how to correct this problem.

I hope these files names will help.

I too have this same problem when trying to convert MAIW AI aircraft to user aircraft. I cannot get them to show up either. I have searched the internet but cannot find an answer. Hopefully someone will let us know.

Is it like another topic recently, where the aircraft don't show up nut the lights do?

In this case if you turn the aircraft shadows off they appear. Check that option in your sim.
The Aired option is only for appearing in the aircraft menu not for appearing in the sim.

Aired is only relevant to FS9, it will have zero effect in FSX. To cause AI aircraft to appear on the aircraft menu, you simply add a panel, to remove it, delete the panel folder

I tried the shadows off with no help.

As far as adding Panels and sound that the way I got a lot of the AI aircraft to show up.

I then tried to install it in with the Air force C-40B with no help.

Like Mr Black said maybe someone will come up with the Answer.

Easy. Stick with FS9.....

Mike, I would agree with you but looking at what FSX looks like on a good system its worth it. Still not as good as FS9 in general though.

Cool! Shame it only worked for one of you though.

Maybe the other one is a straight AI installation issue, but w/o seeing it in place it will be difficult to tell.

When you say you tried to load up a C-40A, was that from one of our packages or one that you are trying to add yourself?

(It was "MAIW_AIA_C-40A_USN From your USN Airliners Package.)

Installing a NG panel to MAIWs AI_C-40A_USN from USN Airlines will get them to showup in the aircraft box.

So the problem was just getting them to show up in the menu?
