Nice! Just read yesterday that the last USAF pilot to fly the Eagle soloed yesterday down at Tyndall. He's the last one that will ever be trained under current plans. Sort of an end of an era.

I heard that all further USAF eagle pilots were going to train with the Guard guys in Klamath Falls

That is true, it will become the only FTU for Eagles. Due to delays in the F-35, "TY" Eagles are not leaving just yet. Might be a post on this in the "RW Military" section.
