Fortunately you don't need to. its also on avsimrus now as well.

I know Steve, thanks, already dowloaded from SB site where there is also a MIG-31 and I can't understand if it is donwloadable or not....

No its not, its a WIP piccy and a heads up on what is coming. Looking forward to it though. Sergey is getting better all the time and including more models in each package.

Tell me if I am just to paranoid? but there was an MAIW thread not long back reference someone getting a bad virus from AvsimRU , so I tend not to touch that site . Is it safe to download from there now.

I think that there was talk of it, but I think it was only package http://militaryaiworks.com/newforum/vie ... f=1&t=7538. I don't think you can be too paranoid but as long as you scan downloads after you have made them then it doesn't matter where you download them from.

As much as I want to trust Avsim.RU I just dont go there anymore, It was my download rom there that CRASHED my computer I had to reload everything including the o/s. I also have a virus scan that automaticly scans everydownload but missed it, it was hidden in the installer.

The whole setup of AVSim.Ru is surely not that of a virus distribution platform.
That does not mean that a virus can't get into the file section there. But we have seen viruses distributed on official media from big companies and surely enough there is also some malware lurking in the downloads offered on flightsim platforms based in the western hemisphere as well.
Have you reported the incidents you had to AVSim.ru, btw?

Some of the major on-line shopping auction sites & third party listing sites for those auction sites have had virus go through them, don't panic. It's just a fact of using the internet these days. Most PC's have some sort of malware/worm on them, most of that malware has been made in-effective by Microsoft updates and good security programs. If you download from the internet, sooner than later you will catch a cold, but you will get over it, just a little wiser but it won't be your last.
