RAAF takes delivery of its first FIVE Super Hornets

The Australian Air Force has recently taken delivery of its first five Super Hornets which landed at RAAF Base Amberley on the 26th March 2010.
The RAAF has ordered 24 Super Hornets to complete delivery by 2011.
The Super Hornets will replace 1SQN & 6SQN F111's.
In a strange turn of events, the Super Hornets did an unexpected flight display at a New Zealand airshow, much to the WOW of the Kiwi crowd.
