i have just downloaded the tucano's from simshed and the engine sound is the same as the fast jets i.e. tornado, F-15 etc

my question is how do i change that because i have already changed the sound folder from the AI PC9 but i have had no luck.

can anyone help me please

AFAIK it must be something in the aircraft.cfg. There is a "switch" that says "prop" or "jet" engine. Maybe it is this one:

[GeneralEngineData]
engine_type = 0 //0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop

Check your engine type.

here is the tucano engine data in the aircraft CFG

engine_type = 1
Engine.0 = -18.0, 0, 1.468
fuel_flow_scalar = 1
min_throttle_limit=0.000000

you need to change the engine type to read :

engine_type = 0

that should fix your jet tucano 's ?

... or maybe engine_type = 5 ?
