Cherry Blossom Festival - US Navy, NAF Atsugi

A short event report from the NAF Atsugi Open House held on Saturday, April 10.
Douglas A-4E Skyhawk, VA-195 Dambusters. Plane has been repainted since last year, and now carries VA-195 colors on both sides.

McDonnell-Douglas F-4J Phantom II, VA-27 Royal Maces.

North American SNJ Texan, VAW-115 Liberty Bells.

Grumman EA-6B Prowler, VAQ-136 Gauntlets. I was told that this plane suffered a landing accident after which it was put up on display. Now complete with flaps and external wing tanks.

Sikorsky UH-3H Seaking, HSL-51 Warlords. Former VIP transport.

Grumman F-14A Tomcat, VF-102 Diamondbacks. Wish these would still be in active service!

Sikorsky SH-60B Seahawk, HSL-51 Warlords. Traditional instruments have given way for glass cockpit.
