Hey guys, does anyone know any sites that list valid US Army Tactical callsigns for aircraft, I know there are tons for USAF, USMC and USN but none to list US Army

Interesting subject, the only thing I could find was, United States Army uses fixed call signs which begin with W, such as WAR, used by U.S. Army Headquarters

I hear them using "Pat" on the radio all the time if that helps.

PAT is used by the fixed wing transports stands for Priority Air Transport, although the C-37s have used SAM as well. most of the helicopters use simply Army with their side numbers, and the army guard uses the callsign guard copter.

Generally what we use while flying on the ranges/reservations: Type + last 3 of tail number (Blackhawk 399). For VFR/IFR flight plans, we use "Army Copter" and last 5 of tail number (Army 23748), this is the same for National Guard helos as well, "Guard Copter" and last 5. Some units have JANAP callsigns they are allowed to use for the local flights. The Guard units seem to have more leeway than active units, I wish we could keep our assigned callsigns we use while deployed. Army fixed-wing is a completely different story, for example the RC-12's here at GRK use "RAIL".

During my time in the US Army during the 1980's and early 90's callsigns for ground and R/W units were designated by a divisional communications SOP which changed almost daily. Typical callsigns of that time were "Charlie 52", "Alpha 44", etc.

With today's advanced commo security equipment this most likely has changed to a more standardized scheme.
