Kinloss is holding a C-130J fest this week, thought I'd try and duplicate it.
1 from Denmark, 2 Norwegian, 1 Italian, 3 US - Coastie, Rhode Island ANG, Ramstein, 2 from Lyneham.

Couldn't find a repaint of this one from Ramstein, so had a go at repainting one of Grahams for my own use to see how its done.
This problem is probably totally obvious, but I just can't seem to find a solution.

Help please, and once I've OK'd it with Graham I'll see if can manage to post it as well.

What is in your alpha-layer?

I haven't ever repainted a C-130, but many models will use the alpha-layer to set the amount of reflection. A black alpha layer would result in the effect you see on your texture. A white alpha-layer would solve the problem.

Mr Sheen, you definately have an alpha layer on the main texture. Look at the propellors and they are fine.

I do not know what program you are using to compile the paint with but look at the settings and see if there is some default alpha layer setting set.

You might see the alpha layer by opening/re-opening the compiled texture with whichever program you are using.

As for publishing, you can post it here but do not upload it antwhere else.
