Looks good.
The final MAIW Mirage 2000 package is expected to include scenery for
BA 188 DJIBOUTI-Ambouli also, as well as the specific Mirage stationed there.

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words, I hadn't realised that it was going to be part of a future MAIW release - I even looked at that page when I downloaded the Djibouti scenery without spotting it! I removed the statics, edited the AFCAD and it looks fine.
One thing I am curious about - as I know nothing about the FAF in Djibouti besides a few web videos I've found and googling doesn't help much - is what types and in what strength the FAF operates in Djibouti. Is it regular TDY operated in rotation by FAF units, or a permanent detachment? Is it just 2000C/-5's or other types out there (I'm sure I saw a 2000D/N in the distance on one video)?
My flightplans for the detachment just pulled the six 2000's out of the UAE from the first package, as I assumed the various FAF Mirage units rotated through Djibouti but if they have a regular unit there I'll have to change them!

The current unit there is EC 3/11 'Corse'. They operate the Mirage 2000C and 2000D with nose codes of "188-Lx". 'Corse' (previously a Jaguar unit) took over duties from EC 4/33 'Vexin' in 2008. 'Vexin' had been there for about three decades operating the F-100, Mirage IIIC, Mirage F1C, and Mirage 2000. So previously units didn't change much, only the equipment did. But the Armée de L'Air is in rearrangement so who know what things will look like in a few years?
One source I checked says there are seven Mirage 2000C and three 3 Mirage 2000D stationed there. There are also C-160 Transalls, Pumu's, Fennec's, and usually a KC-135 Stratotanker there.

Thanks for the info Frank. Looks like I'll be writing in a couple of 2000D's then. The video's I've seen must be from the previous units as they show '12-K*' and '12-Y*' coding. I'm not aware of a Armée de L'Air repaint for the AI KC-135R, only one for the older, non CFM-56 configured aircraft which I don't believe was applicable to the Armée de L'Air at anytime. Thanks again for your help.
