I am making a Waddington airshow package and I was wondering how to make the
aircraft fly down the runway at about 500ft without making them do an overshoot.

To do so would require creating waypoints at 500 feet at each end of a projected path that your aircraft will spawn from and fly directly from one to the other.

It is not a simple procedure I'm afraid.

Yes, you can make the waypoints using AFCAD.
