As I work for QinetiQ, I was just wondering what people thought of the program ref the company the other night?. I thought it was quite good but focused too much on the RAF Chinook conversion. I must say, they do a hell of a lot more than was in the program.

I used to work at Boscombe Down (SAOEU) so I know that a lot of other Aircraft Test and Eval work goes on there. Not sure about Farnborough as I've never been there. I must say that I preferred the Rolls Royce programme which was screened the week before. I found it more interesting from a technical point of view!

I agree,I thought the Rolls Royce one was the best of the three, those engines are huge & look very complicated. The submarine one was also interesting.

I'm afraid I missed it. I am vaguely interested in QinetiQ, in some ways they are a bit like the British version of places like Edwards AFB, China Lake, Tonopah, Groom Lake etc. I'll have to look out for it on the web.

Missed that too - what channel was it on - may be able to do catch up with it.....I remember the Test Pilot series the BBC did at the back end of the 80s, great show.
