One of the few remaining flying C-123 Provider aircraft crashed with the loss of three lives Sunday in Alaska near Denali National Park. The pilot was the owner of All West Freight, owner of the aircraft. The plane which crashed is one we have almost all seen flying - N709RR - in the in-flight scenes of the movie "Con Air".

All West operates from a private hard to locate grass strip (FSX - AK77). The company apparently owned two other C-123 aircraft - N123K which is apparently flyable and another C-123 bought from a museum in Anchorage and trucked to the airport. Apparently used as a parts source. They also have a couple Shorts Skyvans.
