Hello
When I try to add scenery to FS2004 it does not let me add it. I can goto the folder but it just wont add it in.
Checked the scenery file and its not going on the file..
Tried MAIW Atsugi and the carrier 2006 stuff with no joy..
Any one else have an issue with it in relation to Win 7

This is a known bug for FSx when you run it under win 7, but there is a workaround you can read about how to solve it here:

Good luck

I had exactly the same problem working through the Owls FSX installation guide the other
day. I finished up amending the "scenery.cfg" file directly with Notepad. Very frustrating, very Microsoft.
Nice to know that there is a way around it though

It does sound like this needs to be a sticky or in a hints and tips thread.

Ops, yeah I did search Window 7 and Scenery but did not find anything...
So thought quicker to ask as someone will know...
Also if anyone has the FS2004 VRS Bug and ACM does not save their choices they need to set ACM to "run as administrator"
Jeez, wish I would of left FS9 on my PC alone and not deleted it!

Same issue for me, but I sorted out in a minute!
I just select the folder of the scenery I want to add, then click OK. Instead of adding it, Win 7 opens the folder, but you just have to click on the button to return to the previous folder and you'll have it in the list!

I'm glad I found this before I get a new computer-thanks for the heads up.
