This guy is a muppet of the highest order - it's as though if he thinks of something, then it's got to be right and there is no way in damnation that anybody will find him wrong - until now!! It has to be said that many military aircrews cross-train on the job, and it wouldn't be unusual to find a loadie landing a Chinook, but that's after years of flying together and under the watchful eye of the aircraft captain, not some trolley-dolly with three GCSE's who has to take over from an incapacitated flyer........"Jaysus!!"

He'll love the fact that we're talking about him again, though...

I believe that's the point of this little media excercise. Or he wants to charge passengers extra for pilots aswell as using the toilet

Ryanair's pilots are all employed by an agency, they're not strictly Ryanair pilots. However, have a guess who owns the agency?

"It should be quick, efficient, affordable, and safe."
Removing the second pilot from the cockpit and saying something like this? That's "funny"...
Hey, Michael, got another idea for you: declare Ryanair as a kids amusement park. Let them pay 50 EUR for entrance, 20 EUR a minute for an hour flight simulator training (just needed on the first time visit) and let them fly the real bird on your routes for another 120 EUR per flight hour.

I found out yesterday that they are not the only airline that takes liberties with additional charges. Flybe charge £6 for a seat, and no they haven't started standing room on their flights.
So as people have to sit down its not really an extra is it? Unless you go as cargo if you don't pay.
