Crazy take off in a storm

Post by maddog65 »

Not really military related but take a look at this take-off of a 767 in a storm.

Looks to be one heck of crosswind.

So what do you think the pucker factor is on this? 8, 9, :smt119

Jeez, that doesn't look like the kind of flight I would have wanted to be on. That's a hell of a long take-off run too.

It's kind of like my last flight in sim. was in spot mode and had deployed my spoilers as a preflight check jumped back in to the cockpit thought I hit the button on my throttle assembly to retract the spoilers and started my takeoff run. Finally got airborne after a longggggg takeoff roll and was wondering what that was all about but went about checking the airport i was testing back in the spot mode and wouldn't you know it damn spoilers were still deployed.
