Not sure about that last part. Something tells me their F-16s might have been younger than the F-15's they are getting....The F-15 is considered more advanced than the F-16 and is expected to remain in service for decades.
From Dutch wings the Fresno F-16's were built 86-87 and the F-15's from Great Falls were built anywhere from 78-84MIKE JG wrote:From the article:Not sure about that last part. Wow! That's even more of an age spread than I first thought. I wouldn't exactly be excited about that if I were a pilot for them. Wonder if their Eagles are going to get the "Golden Eagle" upgrades??maddog65 wrote:From Dutch wings the Fresno F-16's were built 86-87 and the F-15's from Great Falls were built anywhere from 78-84
Other C-27s should be based at Springfield (Oh.) and MQ-9 UAVs will be in servce with the NY ANG. Strange that thy want to backdate their equipment...campbeme wrote:I heard C-27, may be UAV.reconmercs wrote:Is Montana getting Eagles to replace the one's their giving away?...it hasn't even been that long since they reached full strength...
