From the article:
The F-15 is considered more advanced than the F-16 and is expected to remain in service for decades.
Not sure about that last part. Something tells me their F-16s might have been younger than the F-15's they are getting....

From Dutch wings the Fresno F-16's were built 86-87 and the F-15's from Great Falls were built anywhere from 78-84

Love the last sentence about the Eagles being around for decades! A fan of both airframes, but I don't see how from an economic standpoint the F-15 costs less per hour to operate/maintain than the Viper?

Wow! That's even more of an age spread than I first thought. I wouldn't exactly be excited about that if I were a pilot for them. Wonder if their Eagles are going to get the "Golden Eagle" upgrades??

Other C-27s should be based at Springfield (Oh.) and MQ-9 UAVs will be in servce with the NY ANG. Strange that thy want to backdate their equipment...

C-27s to be based at Mansfield. MQ-1's to be "operated" from Springfield. At least that's the latest I've heard from here in Ohio.
