Good Morning gentlemen. I am an avid flight simmer I enjoy the " real world feel" that you get when flying. I am using FSX and I fly with all of the MAIW packages enabled. I have GEX, UTX NA AND EUROPE, REX, ASE, and I am telling you my ground tiles look like garbage. I cant figure it out. I am thinking about switching to tileproxy, but I havent had much of a chance to see if there have been any improvements made, because last I checked I couldnt fly past 300 knots before I get all blurry, and I am not even sure my FSX.cfg file is completely tweaked right ..... any advice? Its kind of hard to fly a fighter formation with f-15's while you are doing 200 knots ..... lol

Also, I love the IRIS f-15, am I doing something wrong or is there no way to land this plane using ILS ?? I cant figure out how to do it. Any help is much appreciated. Love all you guys!

Sincerely,
Danny Karsznia

Hi Danny,

Whilst you're waiting for one of our FSX members to reply, have you tried the FSX forums at Avsim and Flightsim?

There's a wealth of knowledge on both those boards.

When my ground tiles looked like crap after adding Ground Environment Pro, I did some searching and eventually came up with a Scenery.cfg tweak that did the trick. This was for FS9 but something similar might be out there for your FSX setup if you ask around.

Simouthouse is also a good forum to ask on.
