First Test F-35C Arrives at Pax River

Gotta admit that I like the looks of the C model a lot more than the A and B models. It has a noticeably bigger wingspan.

Here's a nice quick video of the first test C model arriving at Pax River. Note the pilot wearing the funky new helmet as well.

I think all of the F-35's should have the bigger wing span......this looks more like a fighter.

MAN...I love the look of the HMDS...not a fan of the overall aircraft design...just something lacking in 'toughness'...But the HMDS system looks so cool to me.

The -C model definitely looks the best, but I still think the single tailpipe looks funny on them though. I don't know, hopefully I get used to it

Also, what's with the forward hinged canopy?? What was the reason for that??

Might have something to do with the B, VSTOL model and that giant lift fan that sits right behind the cockpit on that model.
