Some screenshots of a work in progress.
There is a lot of traffic passing this base, always some action on the flightline.
The navy bombing range at Farrallon de Medinilla is also in the works.

Glad to see someone taking this on. It's a complex afcad to do with all those small batches of concrete parking areas.

Oh the days - of sitting on our carport in Dededo and watching the Buffs coming back from Nam - a steady stream about 1,500 feet overhead just before their final descent. Like watching an updated version of 12 O'clock High - live.
I'll be very interested in this one.

A very important strategic U.S. base. Gateway to Asia and supply line from Australia.
Glad to see somebody working on this base also.

how is this coming along? I had always hoped of getting stationed out there but I don't think it will happen!

I'm still working on it, sadly my computer crashed last week, but lucky enough I had everything on the back-up.
My computer is working again and I will continue with the scenery soon.

Finally I have finished Andersen AFB, Guam. It uses some objects from MAIW and a few FS9 standard objects.
As an extra the bombing range at Farralon de Medinilla is also included.

Menno,
Following on from another thread, Eielson, you couldn't split off your scenery from the afcad into separate files please. Purely so that annoying people like me can tinker with the parking allocations w/o losing your scenery.
Sorry to be a pain.

Steve,
You could do that yourself couldn't you, before you tinker with it?
Just a thought.

Ahhh, if I can that would be fine but I naturally assumed that you would need the source to do that.
OK I will check.

Menno,
I tried as you suggested. Loaded the scenery file and then compiled it to two separate files and it dumps nearly all the scenery.
Your bgl is 124 KN. The Afcad bgl comes out at 85.4 KB and the Obj bgl comes out at 4.2 KB. Basically you lose 33.4 KB.
If anybody can suggest a why to try an avoid this I am willing to test it out.

Specially for Steve I have split the 2 files into an afcad and an object file. I normally don't do this to save some space in the scenery folder. There are no changes to the scenery, so you can take decide if you want 1 or 2 files for this scenery.
My guess for your problem is that you don't have all the scenery objects installed into ade9x, I have had that problem in the past and some objects will be lost when you compile the scenery.

Greatly appreciated, sorry to be a pain.
You are right about not having any scenery installed into ADE9, if/when I get some time I will look into that and see if that is the problem. I admit that I erroneous thought that if you had the libs installed in FS9 correctly then it should work.
I hope that you don't get too many people making the same assumptions/mistake that i did.
