That is an actual 4 ship formation flight with each AI on a completely separate and independent flight path. The AI spawn at the western boundary of the AI visible area around Coningsby and disappear at its eastern boundary. About an hour later they repeat the flyby, but from east to west.
However, the almost perfect right echelon lateral alignment shown in those screenshots is indeed a matter of timing. The AI always maintain their properly aligned and separate flight paths, but sometimes they lose their perfect formation lateral alignment.

Very nice pics mike.
That aircraft is my baby, I have flown in it a few times from boscombe down, but never in formation like that, lol.

In the last shot you have Typhoons on the pan at Coningsby - are they beta versions of Nick Blacks model or is there another AI version already out there ?

Yes, those are Nick's NBAI Typhoon models and Graham King's repaints that I used when I created the NBAI Typhoon FDE files for Nick. The RAF Coningsby AB scenery you see in those screenshots is some I put together for Nick to go with the pan drive through parking AFCAD that I made for him.

Yes, that is yours truly in a TF-102 Delta Dagger (Deuce) or "The Tub" as we somewhat affectionately called it back in the day.

Mike, sorry for the double post just then, had a window appear & didn`t know if it posted ok.
The delta dagger was a cool looking plane along with the dart.
Did you end your service with the dagger or did you move on to other aircraft types?

The "Deuce" was still being flown by the VT ANG's 134th FIS when I got out, but they have since flown the EB-57, F-4D, F-16A and currently the F-16C.
The "Dart" was the "Deuce's" sporty younger brother and at one time was actually going to be called the F-102B.

I remember when I was younger and my father flew S-76's for Resorts Casino in AC...and the NJANG flew them out of AC. My fathers aprt. was a few miles from the end of the one rnwy and you could hear those awesome planes and see them doing their training. Pretty cool plane...got to love the century series.

Wow, Mike I'm stunned that is amazing. It is something truly great when you can see your creations being used to such great effect. I'd love to see a four-ship Typhoon flypast too.....HINT!!!!

I do like the dart. Some of those paint schemes they had were great, and I dont know about you but the planes in those days just had a lot more character about them.

Thank you for a great job on those jags especially the T2. ZB615 was retired not long back, not sure about XX145, but it is great to see them in AI (PS thanks Graham for the paint).
