OK it is not an AI aircraft and it is fictional.
But I could not resist to paint the Superbug in a 1970s retro scheme.
Superbug - F-14A VF-101 "Grim Reapers" 1970s retro scheme
This was the real one:

The Chargers version is my favorite so far, long time Tomcat fan, something's just not right seeing those VF-1 Wolfpack paints on the Super Bug. When do the CoNA paints come out for Nick's or VRS 18's?

Can't forget about the Jarheads:

I hope they add more than just the retro radome.

The repaints are for the VRS Superbug (FS9) only. They will be released in the next days.
That VMFA-232 Hornet looks nice. It might make it on my to-do-list.
Any more suggestions?

I tell you what would be a very nice What if scheme. Nick was very kind enough to do a personal one for me, for his F-14. VF-96
Showtime!

Actually hawk, the VF-101 job looks better than what RW VFA-106 did to represent VA-106 on the F-18, as far as FRS units. My only request would be all the CoNA scheme's on AI aircraft (OUTSTANDING efforts so far), but I would love to see MCAS Miramar get some West coast USMC Hornets.
Every time I look at that VF-142 paint for the VRS, I think of one of my first plastic model kits of a VF-142 F-14A from Monogram. Great job.

@ Firebird
VF-96 sounds good, I will try to fit that falcon on the Hornet's tail.
@ Victory103
I agree, the RW VFA-106 scheme looks rather boring.
There is also a plastic kit of VF-142's F-14As available today -

Thanks for the link.
To my surprise they do not plan to paint a single aircraft in the typical 1960s/1970s gullgrey-over-white paint scheme.
The S-3B CoNA paint scheme is available for the IRIS/DSB S-3:
http://marksfsrepaints.jimdo.com/flyable-downloads/
There are also some AI CoNA repaints
http://marksfsrepaints.jimdo.com/ai-paints/
The T-45s for Nick Black's AI T-45s were painted by Aaron Haase

I think I have also already seen flyable T-45 repaints on a different forum - made by zsoltfireman?

@travels, nice find on the ppt slides.
Agree about the 60's-80's schemes, back in the day when every squadron had tons of color ,prior to the TPS coming online.
