Kind of strikes me as funny but good to see the old bird still working.
But one thing I am confused about(maybe some one here can explain it to me).How can a F-4 be "cost saving" over a Learjet?

They're in the inventory & flown by people that are already funded. The learjets were contracted out through the Navy, who had to go out & contract some company who is made up of private civilians....like the story says ""Due to costs, the Navy contract for use of the Lear jets was being cut, and we had no other way to accomplish this training." Anything that is contracted out to civilian companies costs more than that carried out by military members/employees.

I didn't know that.It does makes sense that "in house" personal and inventory would be cost saving(already there and trained).
Thanks for the reply Bone184.
