EditVoicePack and Win 7

Hello all,
I installed almost all the MAIW packages... except for the callsigns, which are stored in a temporary folder as Windows 7 doesn't allow me to install EditVoicePack.
First of all, I installed the .NET Framework required, but I kept on receiving a couple of error messages related to missing files.
Any alternative/suggestion?
Thanks!

In the readme it tells you that it needs .NET Framework 1.1 installed
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... laylang=en
Service Pack 1
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... 3353618b38
Install both of these and then EditVoicePack will be able to install.

I have Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop and only had to install .NET Framework 1.1 in order to install and use EditVoicePack. Newer versions of .Net Framework do not necessarily support programs requiring older versions of .NET Framework, so you need to install any older versions of .Net Framework required by your older programs.

Mike,
Purely from a 'might need to know this in the future' type thing, did you have any problems installing, and if so how did you get around it?

Sorted!
I installed .NET 1.1 and it seems to work well!
Thanks for your help!

Steve, you just need to install the 64 bit version of .Net Framework 1.1 and it is fine. I have recently done the same.

I used the one downloadable from the link Graham provided. After testing it, I can confirm it works fine.

Mike or Graham
Is there anything to due with Net Framework 3.5 before installing the 64 bit version of Net Framwork 1.1 Or is it a straight install from the links that Graham has provided.
Thanks
Larry

As far as I am aware .Net Framework 1, 2, 3 and 4 are seperate entities so one does nor rely on the other, hence the lack of .Net Framework in Windows 7.
