I am confused

With all the changes of units in the USA, I am confused as to what aircraft are supposed to be where now & if some fighter sqdns have changed to transport/tanker/UAV`s etc. Does anyone know of a web site around that is up to date for the changes?
Scramble is a good site, but is lagging a bit, & I want to keep my AI as close to real life a s possible. (USAF only)

LOL good luck. You'd probably have to make changes every day :)

Yeah, I suppose you are right there. I will keep looking at the snippets of info in the monthy aircraft magazines.
Cheers anyway.

David,

The closest document I can recommend is published by the USAF Sergeants Association once a year. I get the monthly magazine and other pubs from the widow of a friend who was a member. By no means are they all inclusive, but I have found them to be very informative.

I am sure that if you ask around a bit you can probably find a current member who will share these periodicals with you.

Thanks Mat. I get Combat aircraft monthly here in the UK, but only if there is something in there that interests me at the time, so I only get some of the unit changes.
I`ve just had a thought, would the USAF web page have some useful stuff? I will have a look.

Cheers

Dave

You could do a search for "BRAC 2005" and that would give you the recommendations from that decision. However not all of those changes were adopted. But it would be a start.

Air Force Magazine publishes their May Almanac. Should update most of the major units/retirments (T-43's for example)
